D J Mackay & Son Roofing LTD

A great experience with DJ Mackay. Had a new roof last week with chimney pointing and replacement of roof windows. Got to say, wasn't relishing the thought of such a big job but they made the whole experience as smooth and disruption-free as possible. Josh, Lauren and the team were a delight to have around. We were so impressed with their communication from start to finish, their excellent work ethic and quality of workmanship. They also cleared up as they went along and left the site neat and tidy at the end of every day. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly to anyone needing a new roof or roof repairs.

Excellent job completed by Josh Luke Lauren etc al. They provided good information throughout we're punctual did great work and tidied up extensively after the job... 100% would recommend and use again... Job was to remove a large Victorian shared party chimney with no rear acess

I was so impressed with the team at DJ Mackay. They did a fantastic job of replacing a leaking fibreglass roof with a EPDM roof. The team worked so hard in the extreme heat to get the job finished. A huge thank you to Lauren and Josh who are both wonderful, polite, friendly, reliable and very knowledgable. They respected my property and left the outside cleaner than when they arrived. It is so good to find a roofing company that does an amazing job.Very highly recommended.

D J Mackay were excellent. From the first contact about the job through to job completion, could not fault how they were. Lauren was excellent updating us with the progress on when our job would start. When she phoned to say they were good to go the scaffolders arrived on time and the team from D J Mackay arrived before they had finished putting up the scaffold. The job turned out to be longer than they thought due to the state of the roof (only 1 day longer than planned) but Josh & Lauren kept us updated with what was happening and if there were any additional costs. Lauren, Josh and the wider team were fantastic, considerate, kind & highly professional, would certainly have the team back for any work in the future!

We had a great experience with this roofing company from start to finish. They were honest, professional, and upfront about all costs with no hidden surprises. We had taken multiple quotes from different companies for having our roof & loft timber assessed & were advised to replace the whole roof! All that was needed was vents in the roof to promote air flow. D J Mackay & Son were recommended to us by a mutual friend, & they promptly came & assessed our roof, including the timber in the loft. Luke took the time to explain everything clearly and never tried to upsell unnecessary work. It’s hard to find contractors you can truly trust, but this team delivered exactly what they promised. The quality of the work was excellent, communication was great throughout, and the pricing was fair. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy roofing company. They also have a stellar reputation, and rightly so.
