Compass Building & Construction Services

Our experience attempting to buy a home from Compass was deeply disappointing. After paying a deposit, the company abandoned any sense of professional process. Instead of allowing the solicitors to communicate properly, everything was funnelled through vague, informal messages passed on by one estate agent to another estate agent and then to us. Our solicitor made repeated attempts to engage with theirs, as would be standard in any competent conveyancing process. These were ignored. There was no direct, formal contact from their solicitor at any stage. The only time Compass communicated clearly was to tell us they were now seeking other buyers. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering a purchase. The lack of professionalism and the disregard for basic legal procedure made the process stressful, opaque and ultimately a waste of time and five hundred pounds deposit.

Compass provided a quote for some building renovation works to my property they were very reliable and carried out the works to a high standard thanks to Caroline and her team. Would highly recommend.

These builders took photos of my house and gossiped about it on Facebook when my 6 week old son died. Apparently all the emergency workers turning up was something to talk about. Disgusting and unprofessional. When I brought this up to the company they have done nothing and no one has apologised. The Facebook post is still up and people are still talking about my dead son. Avoid this company

Awful company do not go with them ever !! Don’t even deserve 1 star. Horrible and rude attitudes when they can’t even meet deadlines.

These guys were brilliant. Did a great job at a great price. Thanks Guys. Will definately recommend you.
