My experience of Chubb has been through Russ Martin of the Plymouth branch. Russ is not only an extremely knowledgeable person about his work subject but he is an absolute joy to accompany around our site. We are away on holiday We were rung by the Security system to say our alarm had gone off. Our gardener who lives 10 miles away was asked to attend late at night. In the meantime we called Chubb to be told that our battery had gone flat. Their battery! Hopeless! We are changing companies.

I have been a customer of Westcountry security Chubb security for over 30 years. I have no issues with the maintenance of my system, I can not say the same for the billing staff. Last Saturday due to an issue with their system they charged me twice for the same thing. I have spent all week trying to get a refund of £240. I was told on Tuesday I would have the refund on Wednesday, yesterday they told me I would get a refund on Thursday, today they told me the money had been refunded, (it has not). The operator phoned back to say she "thinks" the money is with HSBC. I do not even bank with HSBC. I have been shouted at by a male customer service guy, I have had the phone slammed down on me and I have been lied to. I have made a formal complaint which has not been acknowledged. Think our happy relationship is about to end!!

For a company that deals in security it is amazing that they employ people who lie. Do not use chubb security for you alarm systems. They provide dreadful service at an expensive price. Any dispute on billing and then they get aggressive on chasing bills. Avoid.

Chubb have been maintaining our fire equipment for many years and though expensive they are thorough and professional.
