Bricks & Mortar

In December 2025 we discovered our front porch was coming away from the house. We have used Bricks & Mortar many times before, and Mark and his team have done every job to a very high standard. Mark really pulled out all the stops on this one and his team rebuilt the porch quickly and to an incredibly high spec. As you can see from the photos, this was not a minor job, and needed a new steel reinforced foundation. The standard of all the work was excellent, but I have to give a shout out to Alan the bricklayer, who is a master craftsman. The work was completed in around 5 weeks from start to finish. I would always recomend Mark and his team!

Mark and the team demolished a brick arch, replaced some bricks at the top of a damaged wall and also did some pointing work for me. They were totally reliable from start to finish and Mark kept me fully informed of progress along the way. Mark and all team members were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. The work was completed to a high standard and the area was left tidy. I am a happy customer and would highly recommend this company. Update: I have now used Mark and the team for another job which involved replacing my front garden wall. Again the company was totally reliable throughout the whole process from attending to give me a quote right through to completing the job and leaving my garden clean and tidy. My new wall was completed quickly and efficiently, the work is of a high standard and the design meets my requirements exactly. Mark was easy to communicate with and kept me fully informed of progress throughout the work. I am extremely pleased with my new wall and would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Thank you Mark and team!

Mark and his team did some brickwork for us recently including replacing 7 courses of bricks and bricking up a window. The whole team were friendly. Work was done professionally and on time. Would recommend him.

Mark and the team were amazing to work with. Did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it. Mark kept us informed all the way through and we couldn't be happier with the work. Would throughly recommend them to anyone :)

From quote to completion of the work, Mark was excellent. He listened to what I wanted and clearly explained what he would do. I have no hesitation in recommending Bricks and Mortar and look forward to working with them again in future.
