B&Q Lisburn

I have just finished shopping here. I was at the self service checkouts and I don't know why self service checkouts are here. I bring my goods to the self service checkout and staff are taking the mobile scanner and scanning my item's. This is not right, I am the customer and I am very capable of scanning my goods. If I want assistance I will request assistance. This is the second time staff have done this. As I have said, if I want / need assistance I will request it. Also while choosing a wet and dry vacuum, I asked a female member of staff to explain these vacuum's to me. She replied that she did not know. She then went to get a lift to take one off the top shelf. She spotted a Karcher wet and dry vacuum on the floor. She said to me to lift this karcher vacuum back up onto the shelf, I said I never took it off the shelf. She said I am not lifting it because I have a bad back. Do B&Q expect customers to risk themselves ? What about my back ? the issue about this is she could have called another member of staff to lift the vacuum instead of telling me to do it. The customer service skills were nil.

Great Selection of anything you can thing of for your Garden. Got everything i needed and at a suprisingly decent price. Pity the staff look like they could not care less any time you ask where something is in a place 3 times the size of a Tesco. God forbid you ask them a question. Other than that pretty good

Matt was absolutely fantastic very helpful from start to finish. He took the time to speak with us about paint colours, explained things clearly, and gave us great guidance so we felt confident choosing the right shades. Most of all, he was so good with our wee boy. He was patient and kind, and it really made the whole experience feel relaxed for us as a family. We really appreciated Matt’s help and you can tell he knows his stuff!

Very good staff here. Very helpful guy at the tool and hardware section. I only asked for directions to the appropriate isle and he took me there and helped select the fixings that I needed and then to choose a new cordless drill. Great customer service

My sister and I visited the store to purchase storage containers, having checked online beforehand for their location. The website clearly stated that they would be in aisle 16; however, when we arrived, they were nowhere to be found. My sister then approached a member of staff named Darragh to ask for assistance. He dismissively told us that the items would be in aisle 16. When we explained that we had already checked and could not find them, he bluntly insisted that they would not be anywhere else. We also pointed out that the website showed the items as being in stock, yet he stated that he could not help without a barcode. At no point did he make any effort to check the system or assist us in locating the items. We ended up having to walk around the store and find them ourselves without any help. His overall attitude was extremely poor. He spoke in a muffled and unclear manner, appeared completely disinterested, and gave the strong impression that he could not be bothered to help customers at all. This level of service was both frustrating and unacceptable, and it left us with a very negative impression of the store.
