Blackstar Security Ltd

Recently completed my First aid at work and SIA door security course with Yvonne and I can say she is the best teacher I have ever had. She is extremely dedicated, and deserves a good vacation! She is so incredibly patient with her students.

I recently attended both the SIA Door Supervisor and First Aid training with Blackstar Security, and I had a very positive experience throughout. The training was well structured, practical, and easy to follow. A special mention goes to Yvonne, who was an excellent instructor. Her delivery was clear, engaging, and very professional. She took the time to ensure everyone understood the material and created a supportive learning environment. Overall, I would highly recommend Blackstar Security to anyone looking to complete their SIA and First Aid training. The quality of instruction and level of support provided were outstanding.

I just completed training with the organisation. Yvonne Carter is an excellent Tutor with effective style of teaching..She imparted knowledge in an aspiring way. She made the few days like time grew a wing ,Moment with her felt like the training should never end.

Yvonne teaching the door supervisor refresher was immaculate, a credit to BLACKSTAR security, made it enjoyable and prompted confidence. Thoroughly explained each part of the course and was very knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend them more. 5 stars

I recently completed my SIA Door Supervisor training at Blackstar Security with Course Director Yvonne Carter. She is incredibly disciplined and professional. Her teaching style is clear and straightforward, and she explains the key principles in a way that really sticks with you. You genuinely can’t forget the lessons unless you weren’t paying attention. The course gave me valuable hands-on experience and a much deeper understanding of what the Security Industry Authority role is truly about. I now have a solid grasp of the core principles and responsibilities of a door supervisor, from conflict management to professional conduct and keeping people safe in licensed venues. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone serious about a career in security.
