Scott and Jamie did a really great job with our fence! I would highly recommend using Ascott Maintenance. They were clean and tidy and clearly took pride in their work. Very respectful and when I got home my elderly neighbour said they helped her cut back some of her rose bushes…I would definitely say they went beyond what was expected. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Absolutely shocking experience with Ascott Maintenance Services. They came out (Jaime), assessed the job, and confirmed everything was fine to replace my fence. Based on that, we agreed I would remove the old fence myself — which I did. After removing it, a small issue appeared due to the neighbour’s higher ground level (something they already knew about and said was “no problem”). I immediately informed them, sent photos/videos, and even agreed to pay extra for the additional work. I also arranged a digger to properly level the ground so the job could be done correctly. Despite all this, they suddenly refused to continue and told me to “find someone else” because the job is “not for them.” Now I’m left with no fence, missing materials (they were supposed to supply posts), money already spent based on their advice, and no one to finish the work. Completely unreliable, unprofessional, and a total waste of time. Avoid at all costs. Also, be careful with how they handle materials. I was advised not to buy certain items because they already had them and would include them in the final price of the job. This was presented as helpful, but it wasn’t very transparent. After completing the work myself, I was left with around 30% extra materials, which raises questions about how quantities are estimated and charged. It gives the impression that customers may end up paying for more than actually needed. Worth keeping in mind before agreeing to anything.

Highly recommend Ascott Services for work, in particular general maintenance and fencing. They put up a fantastic fence for our garden for privacy and security. Really happy with the standard of work and attention to detail. Great communication the whole way through. Thanks and we will use them again.

Great job - cleared away the old rotten deck , and put in a new ( much improved ) deck into a smallish but complex location. All done in 6 hours. Couldn't be happier with the finish / value for money , Graham Baker & Fabiana Gordon.....Greville St., Southville, Bristol.

Absolutely delighted from start to finish. I needed (what I thought) a fence repair, but I ended up with replacing it. Scott was the only tradesperson who actually inspected my old fence fully and provided me with a quote for a repair. At no point did he push or try to convince me to put a new one (which of course equals more cost for me). I was very taken by this, because I didn't expect any bigger expenses when the fence started to collapse. He also (at my request) prepared a quote for a new fence and I made the decision which I am extremely happy with now - I have a new fence, the crew were amazing, very nice, professional and they left me worry free. In terms of price - this company is VERY reasonable and you might even wonder why someone else quoted you double compare to Ascott Services - well, these guys want a fair pay for their job, but not your kidney! And they do not count on your stupidity or lack of experience. Very happy, any house maintenance I ever need - these will be my go to people. Communication and cooperation with the client - top class. Thank you Scott and Jaime!
