AEC Protection

I recently completed the FREC 3 First Responders course and found it to be an outstanding learning experience from start to finish. The course content was well-structured and highly relevant, particularly the sections on tracing and patient assessment. The practical use of medical aids was clearly explained and reinforced through hands-on scenarios, which really helped build confidence in applying skills in real-life situations. The trainers were exceptional knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in ensuring every participant understood the material. They created an engaging learning environment, encouraged questions, and provided constructive feedback throughout. The training venue was excellent: clean, well-organised, and fully equipped with all the necessary resources. The layout supported both classroom learning and practical exercises comfortably. Overall, this course exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to build or enhance their first responder skills.

I’ve recently completed an SIA Door Supervisor course at AEC feeling excited and prepared for working in the security industry. A massive amount of credit goes to our instructor Gary. The whole group held his instruction and teaching style in the highest regard because he is very knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, and brought great real world perspectives from his own experience to the training. The classroom setting is the perfect balance between maintaining high standards as well as being incredibly high spirited and engaging which made the days feel very productive all throughout. Simon was extremely friendly and made the medical information easy to understand. He put across the key points in a way that really stuck while also getting across how important it is. The instruction at AEC is top tier. I can’t recommend them enough if you’re someone like me who walked in knowing next to nothing about the security industry. I left with great foundational knowledge about the industry and how to perform within it. If you’re looking for high quality training this is the place to go.

I sat the Level 2 Door Supervisors course with AEC a couple of months ago. I found the instructors Gary and Brett highly informative and very engaging, it is very clear that they both have a plethora of experience in the industry. I found the course to be very powerpoint intensive for the first few days, however the instructors do supplement the powerpoints with real world videos and stories from their own experience, which helper break up the powerpoints. The last couple of days, on the conflict management and physical intervention section, was the most interesting part for a hands on learner like myself. Brett took the lead for these modules, he has a very engaging teaching style and is very hands on and happy to show you the correct way of doing things. Upon completion of the course, around 3 weeks after the final assessments, I received my qualification certificate and I am now fully licensed as a door supervisor. So thank you very much Gary, Brett and the team at AEC. I am potentially looking at getting on the CCTV course in the near future and I will definitely be back for the refresher course when it is due.

I very much enjoyed my time at AEC ! Firstly the instructors were amazing and brought knowledge and passion to the course, personally I’m ex forces so I found Tom’s teaching style relatable Josè was very knowledgeable and had a different approach which showed his years of experience also. The facility is brilliant with spacious classrooms and training gym very clean modern and well maintained. The course itself is very well invested in the owner Aidan really Dosent cheap out on getting all the best venues and vehicles and staff to provide a top quality product. Money well spent! Thankyou so much AEC

Where do I start... I have recently completed a course with them and the instructors and guests are absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to help you as long as you put the effort in. They put in as much effort as you, and more to help see you succeed. I spoke to the MD before signing up for the course and he provided me with all the information needed and is also very informative and very helpful and understanding. The training team I was taught by at AEC are always willing to help and give guidance at all times when needed. The facilities/contacts they have at hand to use are second to none and gives realistic natural scenarios for real life experiences of what may happen. Although at times things can come across strict, don't get this confused with being assertive and trying to make you a better person and a better security professional within the industry, learn from things rather than take things personally. That is what training courses are all about and if you take a course here you will also learn these communication skills which will help you within day to day life and within the security industry. Humble, committed, knowledgeable. Massive thanks to all the instructors & guests I had on my course, to the MD, and to the office staff too.
